When I designed these Nightmare before Christmas printables, I optimized them to fit onto 1.55- 1.75 oz Hershey’s bars and similar sized treats. You can experiment with putting them on other sizes or even shrink them in your print settings for smaller candy. If you are looking to go a healthier route, you could use them with protein and energy bars;  Cliff bars, power bars, granola bars or your own homemade favorite for example. Whatever you think your party guests will like at your, Halloween, Oogie Boogie or Nightmare before Christmas themed party.

Using multipurpose printer paper is the way to go in my opinion. Think about investing in a laser printer as well. You will save a lot of money long-term. I bought one years back and can no longer go without it. What paper is best for my Nightmare Before Christmass bookmarks?

If you are on a budget go with multipurpose printer paper. You may find that your Nightmare Before Christmas bookmarks are flimsy though. You could add strength to them if you have a laminator. Using a cardstock paper is also a great alternative; probably the best way to go. You could also coat them with clear packing tape in place of a laminator. You can save on ink long term if you invest in a laser printer as well. Up front you’ll pay more than an inkjet printer but you will save a bundle on ink and you can also buy refilled toner cartridges at a fraction of the cost of brand name ones.

What paper works best for Nightmare before Christmas popcorn boxes?

For super strong popcorn boxes I recommend using a white cardstock paper. The popcorn boxes hold up really well but will take a little more effort to cut. For a more economical choice try a multipurpose printer paper. It is easy to bend and quick to trim. These are definitely flimsier but once all the sides are together they work well enough for holding a light treat like popcorn. I usually just use standard paper. Just recently I made them with normal paper and took them to the movie theater. I then usually order a big tub or bag of popcorn and distribute it in to these themed popcorn boxes for my kids to eat.

What Can I Use to Cut My Paper?

Scissors are best for the curvy edges but if you are looking to do straight edges and doing them often, I recommend a paper cutter. It will make quick work of all those straight cuts. It is also helpful because you can cut more than one piece of paper at a time. We have a couple different paper cutters for all our free printables :)
