Hi Randy,
These free vector files were left in their native state so any piece could be edited. They aren’t sliced up and they were created in Adobe CS5. Try ungrouping items or using the direct selection tool. Just to be sure, I downloaded a copy and opened each file type in CS5 and then ungrouped, started moving pieces around and changed colors. There are tutorials on youtube if you need help editing in illustrator. Best of luck.

you should make your files to where they can be altered for its purpose. these are sliced up and i cant change the fills.
